OVERVIEW

The AFE Boiler Essentials™ (Boiler Essentials™) certification course provides an in-depth exploration into proven optimization and preventive maintenance strategies. Designed by AFE education partner PMC Group One, Boiler Essentials™ offers expert analysis through digestible text and informative diagrams. And, since the course is delivered through the AFE Learning Management System (AFE LMS), Boiler Essentials™ can be further customized to include videos or other resources to comprehensively meet client needs. Additionally, the course can be administered either asynchronously or as a remote learning experience led live by one of our engaging instructors through our virtual event portal. Assessments for the course are also delivered online through the AFE LMS. Learners who successfully complete the course receive a digital certificate and badge. The content for Boiler Essentials™ has been divided into two proficiency levels – i.e. Boiler 1™ and Boiler 2™ – to speak to the varying degrees of work experience or practical knowledge possessed by potential consumers of the course. AFE Boiler Essentials offers a comprehensive deep dive into optimal boiler operations for any facilities maintenance team.

To earn the Boiler Essentials™ Level 1 (Boiler 1™) credential, a candidate must achieve a passing score on each SCORM assessment at the end of each Boiler 1™ content unit. A candidate may only enroll in the Boiler Essentials™ Level 2 (Boiler 2™) program after successfully earning the Boiler 1™ credential. Similarly, Boiler 2™ candidates earn the credential by achieving a passing score on each Boiler 2™ SCORM assessment.
