About the AFE Foundation

Established in 1976, the AFE Foundation (AFEF) seeks to advance the state of the art in the technology that drives the built environment and prepare the next generation of facilities management professionals to meet the challenges of an ever evolving professional landscape. The AFE Foundation conducts and funds research, sponsors learning opportunities and provides scholarships to engineering students seeking careers in any of the industries supporting the built environment, like the A / E / C industry.

AFEF Scholarship Opportunities

Edward F. Gagnon Scholarship

The Edward F. Gagnon Scholarship (Ed Gagnon Scholarship Program) provides financial support to facilities management professionals (FMs) pursuing facilities engineering certifications or designations offered by the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) or AFE Strategic Partners. Candidates can apply by emailing afefoundation@afe.org

Dennis M. Hydrick Scholarship Sr. Scholarship

The Dennis M. Hydrick Scholarship Sr. Scholarship provides financial support to students pursuing graduate or undergraduate degrees in a STEM field or intend to pursue career opportunities in the facilities management arena. Interested candidates can apply by emailing AFEFoundation@afe.org.

Donating to the AFE Foundation

Donors can make contributions to the AFE Foundation (AFEF) general fund or provide direct support to any of our programs or scholarships. AFEF accepts one-time donations as well as reoccurring support and major gifts. If you are interested in making a donation to the AFE Foundation, please contact AFEFoundation@afe.org.
