Over the last few years, the Internet of Things (IoT) has become one of the most important new technologies. It allows facility managers to connect machines and devices through the internet, thus allowing for monitoring and controlling from more than one location. In our November meeting, our speaker will discuss this new technology and how facilities engineers can benefit from it.
Terrence DeFranco is CEO and President of Iota Communications, Inc. Iota Communications helps businesses leverage technology and connectivity to reduce cost, increase efficiency and advance health, safety and sustainability. Their dedicated carrier-grade network is built to enable low-cost, long-range connectivity in even the most challenging of environments.
Mr. DeFranco began his career on Wall Street in 1991 with UBS. He has extensive experience in dealing with issues related to the management, finance, operations and corporate development of startup and middle market public and private companies.
