Primetals is the EOM for Wire Rod Mill that builds our nation. They supply the materials that make steel-belted radial tires, coil springs in cars/machines, copper wire in your home, etc. They’ve been supplying this market since 1888.

?? Shoes*: Completely covered walking shoes (e.g. tennis shoes or boots) are required for all tours. Sandals, flip-flops, open-toed, open-heeled, or hi-heeled shoes are not allowed.
?? Clothing*: Pants and long sleeve shirts are recommended.
?? Large Items: Backpacks, bags, books, etc. should remain in your vehicle. These types of items are not allowed on the tour.
?? Disabilities or Medical Conditions: Please let us know if anyone in your group has any special needs so we can plan accordingly.
* Due to safety regulations, anyone arriving for the tour without proper footwear and clothing will not be allowed on portions of the tour.

Summerville, South Carolina (USA) has been home to the headquarters of KION North America since 2015.
The products manufactured here include counterbalance trucks with electric drives or internal combustion engines and warehouse trucks from the KION subsidiary brand Linde Material Handling. There is also an independent development department in Summerville as well as a special track for testing forklifts developed in North America.
