How can I save on cost?

If you join AFE today as a Facilities Engineering Pro, you will save $500 on your CPE credential and enjoy all the perks of member exclusive opportunities.

If you are not already an Active AFE Member at the time of applying, your fees will be set to the Non-Member price. As a non-member applicant, the exam fee includes a one-year complimentary membership* with AFE which allows you to engage with a local chapter or interest group in your area.

*Credential renewal fees do not include membership renewal.

What happens after I register for the CPE?

After you complete your registration and payment, AFE will process your registration and provide you with access to your digital study materials so you can begin preparing. You will also receive a printed copy of the study materials shipped via UPS, with tracking information sent by email once your shipment is processed.

How does the CPE exam work?

The CPE certification exam is completed online.

The exam consists of four modules, with up to two (2) hours to complete each module. Candidates may take all four (4) modules in one day, or complete them on different days.

How do I schedule my CPE exam?

You can email the AFE Credential Team with your preferred exam date. Your exam links will be sent one day before your scheduled exam.
