A Message from Your Chapter Board President

For over 30 years across four decades I’ve had the privilege of being a partner, teacher, and lifelong student in the Bay Area’s Facilities Engineering community. And honestly? I’m grateful. This community didn’t just shape my career—it made it. That’s why stepping into the role of President of the San Francisco Chapter of the Association FOR Facilities Engineering feels especially meaningful. I’m returning to a chapter I was part of early in my journey, and it’s an honor to help lead its next chapter. My goal is simple: bring fresh energy, build momentum, and welcome a new generation of leaders into the fold. This industry offers incredible, lifelong career paths—and it only gets stronger when we show up for it and for each other. So here’s my message to Facility Engineers across the region, at every level:
