Senior Facilities Manager

Orlando Health

Scott Arnold, born and raised in Brooklyn, started his career in the facilities management space after graduating from Grady Vocational High School as an Electrician Helper with the New York City Transit System in 1982. Scott was promoted to Electrician in 1984 and worked for the transit system until 1989, relocating to Central Florida to serve as an Electrician for Universal Studios Orlando. After a decade of working and training, Scott was offered a position as Engineering Supervisor at Health Central Hospital. By 2005, Orlando Health offered him the position of Facility Manager. In 2009, CenturyLink lured Scott away from the healthcare field. But eight years later, Orlando Health would convince Scott to return as the head of Corporate Engineering, a position in which Scott manages a team of twenty-seven and holds responsibility for more than 9.2 million square feet of commercial real estate.
