About this event
The skills that supervisors possess are essential building blocks for effective leadership. AFE’s Certified Professional Supervisor (CPS) Program was built to develop and strengthen these foundational skills for all professionals across all industries. The knowledge gained from the CPS program will ensure supervisors effectively execute and manage any situation necessary to perform the job.

Earn a CPS Certification
1. Check Eligibility
There are two ways in which you can qualify for the CPS (Eligibility Matrix)
- A minimum of 2 years in plant/facility supervisory capacity
- A minimum 3 years in field overall
2. Apply
You can take the CPS exam at either (1) ONLINE through our Exam Builder portal or (2) at your workplace, using a proctor from your employer’s human resources. If that is not an option, a boss or supervisor may act as your proctor. If you take the exam at your facility you have two options, you can take it in either paper-based or on-line format. Test materials are forwarded to the proctor one day in advance of your exam date. Upon completion of the exam, the proctor will return the materials to the certification department for grading

Please contact Lesly Gutierrez at 571-329-6068 to submit your application and initial payment. Early Bird registration is due by end of the registration period, which for this course will be March 7-10 from 9:00-5:00 EST. The initial payment is non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy:
Applicants who register for any AFE Online Review Course may cancel said registration on or before the date posted on the web portal for each course. Cancellations requested on or before the posted date will be subject to a $225 administrative fee, which will be deducted from the applicable refund amount. Refunds will be issued within thirty days from the cancellation date. Cancellation requests received after the posted date will be subject to a cancellation fee equal to 80% of the total registration fee, which will be deducted from the applicable refund amount.
