Uses for Infrared Inspections For Facility Engineers
This presentation will provide participants with insights on applications of infrared thermography, as well as related non-destructive testing, used by facility engineers. This discussion will review common applications such as inspections of electrical systems, flat roofs, and steam. Participants will be introduced to newer applications such as inspection of solar fields, energy savings and LEEDS certifications. Current industry standards that apply to each type of inspection will be reviewed. Generic Scope of Work templates will be made available. Additional technologies, such as nuclear flat roof surveys and electric field vector mapping, will be explained.
Who Should Attend: Anyone involved in building maintenance, construction, or building design should attend. The program is designed to provide information for personnel performing infrared inspections in-house, persons responsible for contracting such infrared services, and anyone involved in preparing bid specs or documentation that may require any infrared survey. Mary is Level III Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer with over 30 years experience in commercial and industrial applications. In addition to her duties at Jersey Infrared Consultants, Mary is on the staff of Infraspection Institute and is active at the local level of Roof Consultants Institute.
