The Future of Data for Facility Managers: The Pathway to Getting Your Organization Focused on Data

OVERVIEW

About Founders Day 2021

For more than a century, the Association for Facilities Engineering (AFE) has led the way in providing educational resources and professional tools to active and emerging building maintenance, facilities management, plus design and construction professionals around the globe.  The AFE Founders Day Celebration, our premier annual networking event, not only celebrates that legacy but also provides an opportunity for our Members and guests to broaden their personal and professional networks while exploring new business opportunities.  Last year, Founders Day expanded to include a one-day conference plus a silent auction to benefit the AFE Foundation.  That tradition continues with our annual legislative summit, which will delve into prevailing legal trends and pending legislation from across the United States that affect the built environment.

About this Webinar

The Future of Data for Facility Managers: The Pathway to Getting Your Organization Focused on Data and Metrics

The Facility Manager of yesterday had the job of collecting and creating data on Buildings and Assets. This was followed by planning actionable activity to correct or optimize their usage. Most of this was centered on CMMS software.  In the future world of the Facility Manager – data is everywhere. Data collection is automated, sources of data go beyond your organization, planning activity comes first, and the tools to manage and convert data to information are useful, but overwhelming.

This session will present a roadmap to understanding:

  • What data do I collect, how do I analyze it and how do I manage it?
  • What are the Metrics that matter?
  • What do I need to know about AI, Machine learning, Neural Networks, Deep Learning and advanced tools and systems?
