Ricky Smith is a well-known Maintenance and Reliability book author, Best Practices consultant, and educator. After earning an Industrial Education degree of the University of Georgia, he has accumulated over 30 years experience working as Maintenance and Reliability Professional for companies such as Exxon Company USA, Alumax Mt Holly, Kendall Company and the US Army. In addition, Ricky worked a Maintenance Consultant/Educator with hundreds of companies in over 60 countries world-wide.
Ricky is a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP), Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician (CMRT) and Certified Reliability Leader (CRL). Ricky is a CMRP Exam proctor. Ricky worked for one of nine plants in the world every certified as achieving “World Class Maintenance”.
