Greater Philadelphia Chapter 6 Meeting

Ever hear of IoT and IIoT?

Internet of Things (IoT) and Industrial IoT are among the “latest and greatest” acronyms in the facility world.  What are they used for?  What are the benefits and potential?  What should facilities engineers and managers know about IF and HOW they should deploy these and some of the pitfalls that this technology presents?

Presenter

Art Karros is a Project Manager and Electrical Engineer at Lockheed Martin as well as an AFE member and CPE instructor. His expertise is in power systems, lighting and energy procurement.  Art serves as energy manager for the Valley Forge site and serves on the corporation's Renewable Energy board.  His most recent accomplishment has been the attainment of AFE’s CPE certification and his ability to support the training of future CPE candidates.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - PLEASE READ:

The venue for this month's meeting is a new one and we're excited about the possibilities due to its more central location in the greater Philadelphia area.

Even though there is a charge for the room, we will not be charging you - the members - for attending.  Regardless, you MUST register here so that we can give the venue an idea of the numbers. We will have the opportunity to order from the menu.
