Our Fort Bragg Initiative
It started as an experiment, a means to help our  soldiers about to separate from the United  States armed forces and back into our civilian  world. Since our first class back in July of 2012,  the tri-partnership between AFE, Fort Bragg's  Soldier for Life, and Fayetteville Technical  Community College, has been responsible for  over 500 retiring and non-retiring soldiers  receiving a management certification in the filed of Facilities Maintenance and Engineering. That's right, these men and women are not just receiving training toward a potential career in maintaining the workforce of small and large sophisticated buildings, but they are being certified. However, the other upside to this program is the versatility of the curriculum. Major elements of the Certified Professional Maintenance Management (CPMM) program is the ability for using major components learned for everyday use in any management position.

AFE now offers our Job Target employment search tool. There is now a link that can be used by our retiring soldiers, sailors, and airmen, seeking positions within the facilities maintenance and engineering field. Please take time to read our earlier article about AFE's Fort Brag Initiative
